Model Nursery has been established for over 25 years now but in 1997 Model Nursery Liners was established to specialize in the production of liners in Shrubs, Conifers, Grasses/ Ferns, Herbaceous and Climbers . We are one of the leading liner nurseries in Ireland.
The UK accounts for approximately 85% of our sales. In 1998 we
added a range of grasses to our list which have proven to be very
successful and we are continuing to add new grasses which are of
commercial value.
In 1999 we built a very modern fully computerized propagation house
to ensure a continuous supply of a wide range of high quality plants
including the more difficult to root varieties.
In 2000 we purchased a new fully automated potting machine to ease
our workload and increase our output.
This year we plan to install a mist unit integrated into our
heating system. We also plan to build a further 3000 square
metres of poly tunnel for growing on.
We feel it very important to produce a very high quality young
plant to satisfy our existing and new potential customers. To
this extent we are interested in your long - term liner requirements
and your immediate requirements.
All plants are grown in P9r pots to a very high quality,
all trimmed regularly and graded evenly. From Spring 2002
we will be growing a limited range in P11r pots suitable for
retailing. All supplied with picture labels.
Also we will be introducing a range of Hardy Ferns in P9r
and P11r pots.
We can quote or invoice you in whichever currency suits you best. If you
require samples of our liners or a visit to our nursery do not
hesitate to call us and we can arrange an appointment or for
foreign visitors we can arrange for you to be picked up at Dublin
Airport and left back at the airport on your return.

Model Nursery Liners Ltd have also been finalists in the Offaly
County Enterprise Awards for the last 3 years.
All plants are delivered in carry trays on CC Danish Trolleys
using a specialist haulier. These trolleys can be exchanged
on delivery for convience.
We also have the facility to photograph any plant or batch
of plants and e-mail the photos to you. We exhibit at The
Kildare Growers Trade Show held here in Ireland in July every
year at Stand No Q6 and at The Four Oaks Trade Show held in
England in September every year at Stand No A 53.
